PORT Moresby Rugby League 2012 late entry, ECO-Care Puma was boosted last Saturday by the arrival of new sets of uniforms for its two grades.
The uniforms arrived as part of a sponsorship package from ECO-Care Engineering Ltd, a local environmental consultation company.
“The club has produced some very talented Kumuls and we are happy to be part of its revival,” managing director Dennis Kai said on handing the uniforms to club president, Stanley Hondina.
“You go back in PRL history and you’ll find this club among the best, especially in the early 2000s with finals trophies to its name.”
Kai said he was more than happy to help when one of the club’s former stars and Kumul Stanley Hondina went to him to seek support.
“We went our separate ways after a couple of big years for the club and that affected the club.
“It eventually led to the club’s exclusion from the competition.
We are rebuilding and ECO-Care’s support will play a very big role for the club and our players,” Hondina said.
