PORT Moresby men’s softball clubs have been urged to register their players to enable competition to proceed without any hiccups.
Softball league secretary Albert Daniel said yesterday that it was very important that players be registered before they took part in the games.
He said that Gazelle and Brothers were the only clubs that had paid their player registration fees.
Daniel added that clubs that had not paid their registration fees should refrain from using the training fields until the player registration fees were paid.
Meanwhile,  Manatarays should notch an easy two competition points against a depleted Kopex in their match on Sunday.
National club champions PNG Power face United Brothers in what is tipped to be the match of the round while Brown Eagles are expected to down Defence.
Gazelle should make amends for their loss to Eagles last weekend by beating Stingers while reigning champions Bears are tipped to overpower the Wolves.
The competition ladder after last weekend: PNG Power 7, United Brothers 7, Wolves 5, Brown Eagles 5, Bears 4, Stingerz 4, Defence 4, Gazelle 2, Mantarays 2, Kopex 0.
