PREMIERSHIP hopefuls Datec held off the Australian High Commission 27-21 in the Private Netball Companies premier division’s minor semi-final on Sunday.
The win allows the side to have a last ditch effort against Westpac in the preliminary final on Sunday.
Westpac lost to Proclean in the major semi-final. Proclean became the first side to secure a grand final berth.
Datec coached by Lua Rikis, kept a disciplined style to stay on top of the Aussies.
Young Pepe Kimberly Alex had a leading hand in yet another successful weekend at the Rita Flynn courts.
The previous day she guided Works to win the Public Servants netball grand final against minor premiers Medcomm NBC.
Datec had the upper hand with several seasoned players in Kapi sisters Rachael and Nancy putting up a sister combination in their defending role.
