Telikom gives fixed wireless broadband to Meri Seif Haus

THE Meri Seif Haus in Kaugere, Port Moresby received a fixed wireless broadband from Telikom PNG Ltd last Tuesday to boost its campaign against gender-based violence.
The Meri Seif Haus is a programme run by the Foursquare Living Light Gospel church in Kaugere and managed by the church’s women’s ministry providing temporary shelter to victims of violence in Moresby South and the National Capital District.
According to Telikom PNG Ltd the fixed wireless broadband will boost the Meri Seif Haus coordinate and run its services.
Telikom marketing and business development manager Silas Matoli, when presenting the device to the church, spoke on the importance of addressing gender-based violence in communities.
He said Telikom was pleased to support churches that were providing vital services to the communities.
“Telikom is owned by the people of Papua New Guineans and it’s only right that the company comes to support such programmes,” Matoli said.
