TELIKOM PNG has donated about K500,000 annually to schools for the Clean IT programme since it started in 2011.

The programme comes under the Telikom Foundation Inc.

Foundation CEO Brian Sam said the money Telikom donated to school annually was for them to install the programmes to assist with resources such as computers.

Telikom’s acting chief executive officer Sureshkumar Kandaswamy said education was a key enabler among other important priority focus areas, for nation building.

“Our children and teachers need to be properly equipped with the right learning and teaching resources for quality based advancement,” he said.
