Telikom PNG authorised to distribute Huawei ideahub
TELIKOM PNG is the authorised distributor of Huawei ideahub, its latest technology on the market.
Telikom acting chief executive Amos Tepi signed a memorandum of understanding with Huawei Technologies PNG Ltd managing director Jacky Xu in Port Moresby on Tuesday.
The ideahub is a video conference and digital writing board device, incorporating intelligent handwriting, HD projection and open office app gallery.
“Huawei ideahub series is the new option for smart office in meeting room, open office, executive boardroom, home office and many other scenarios,” Xu said.
“We have been in Papua New Guinea for more than 10 years already as an ICT leading company.
“We are going to partner with Telikom and provide further solutions in the market.”
Tepi said PNG companies should look at innovation and move with the trends in the technology world.
“We need to look at online and paperless, and this is the drive,” he said.
“We want to see more changes in the organisation, we want to see customers benefit from the changes.
“This ideahub is about the Zoom meeting that you can have, conference where you can get others to Zoom in as well.
“I think it is the way forward and Papua New Guineans need to start looking at the way forward on technology changes happening around the world.”

Will this Huwei ideahub record of visual and voice discussing important and intelligent information which will be good for cost saving and real time basis but “what chip is the Chinese company inbuilt with that idealhub can track on important issues will be taken by them.
Will Tekilom technicians can that all our information is keep safe without transferring it to China.
The cost of board meetings for SMEs and other small companies is normal high given the lack of logistics etc. It is dearly hoped that Ideadhub product to facilitate and enable the conduct of meetings without the need for physical presence in the board room or meeting place.
