Teme back to face Seagulls in round 14

Sports

JERRY Teme is back in SP PNG Hunters side at five-eighth for Sunday’s Intrust Super Cup round 14 clash against the Tweed Head.
Teme replaced main playmaker Ase Boas, who was ruled out with a collar bone and neck injury from last Sunday’ s loss to Mackay Cutters at the National Football Staium.
Teme combines with halfback Nick Hasu as the pair look to lead the team around the park against the fifth-placed Seagulls.
New recruit Roy Ellison, who is Hunters No.83, will also get his first chance to impress coach Michael Marum after getting his chance following winger Gairo Kapana’s withdrawal.
Second-rower Ila Alu returns on the bench for the first time since round three when he broke his arm.
Coach Marum will confirm his final 17 before kick-off.
Two Digicel Cup Round 11 games will bookend the Hunters-Seagulls match in the local ‘Men of Honour’ round with the Central Dabaris taking on the Gulf Isou at 12.30pm while at 5pm the Prt Moresby Vipers against the Enga Mioks.
