Tetanus vaccination to continue

 NCD Health Services announced yesterday that it would continue with round three of the tetanus toxoid vaccination campaign until next month. 

Public health director Dr Niko Wuatai said this round of the campaign got underway a week late.  

“Because we were late in dispatching the teams we have extended the campaign to give the opportunity to mothers and girls who are not yet reached,” he said.     

“We are optimistic that in the two weeks we will vaccinate at least 90% of women who are of child bearing age (15 to 45 years).
