Thank you for standing with Marape

Letters

PAPUA New Guinea’s pioneer economist, former finance secretary, former Bank of PNG governor and former prime minister Sir Mekere Morauta is a man of dignity and high esteem.
Sir Mekre followed his heart’s conviction to be with Prime Minister James Marape who became prime minister from almost nothing.
Thank you Sir Mekere, you have set your record straight as you are not as power hungry as others.
Your actions speak about who you are by really wanting the Independent Commission Against Corruption Act to be at work and not just talk.
Same as Sir Mekere is National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop who remained with the Marape-led government that believed in an honest and transparent government.
Following him was his party member and most outstanding performing Moresby South MP Justin Tkatchenko.
Parkop and Tkatchenko’s alignment with Marape shows that they prefer his style of leadership.
It was interesting to hear Tkatchenko speaking out that the Opposition camp were not interested in anything of significance but just power.
Following Sir Mekere, Parkop and Tkatchenko is Kagua-Erave MP Wesley Raminai.
Raminai said he was not kidnapped to join the government camp as speculated but did so on his own will.
I thank the four MPs for putting the interest of the country and people first over the struggle for power.
