Thank you for your showcase

 I COMMEND the preparation and the staging of the fifth Melanesian Festival of Arts and Culture in Port Moresby.

It was a showcase of some traditional cultures and talents from the four Melanesian countries including West Papua which was not seen live before. 

I also commend the committee for inviting West Papua to the festival.

However, there were some concerns about the preparedness of the host country but as Melanesians brothers and sisters, we know how to assist one another.

I would like to thank our Melanesian brothers and sisters for showing your traditional cultures and talents.
