Thanks for lower premiums

 I WOULD like to commend the Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (ICCC) for the reduction in premiums paid for high risk vehicles this year announced in the dailies a week ago. This is the first time I have heard that premiums can actually come down. It is a big relief to owners of vehicles that are classified as high risk as they pay high premiums and even with their classification, more than half of these vehicles do not have accidents every year. It is encouraging to see at least some incentives for high risk vehicle owners in terms of low premium prices. Secondly it is not necessarily the vehicle owners’ fault that their vehicle falls into the high risk category so it is unfair to further slap them with higher premium payments.
