The church and the State

Letters

THERE is misunderstanding about the word of God by the churches and the government or political system.
They are separate bodies with different responsibilities.
The government is the authorised body ordered by God to take care of our physical lives by providing physical services as long as we live on Earth.
These services should be delivered to the people only through the government agencies, and not the churches.
The government is the body authorised to impose laws to guide and protect us, but not to hang or execute law breakers.
The creator will order eternal death for law breakers or the disobedient after the final judgement.
The government should only support the churches by providing physical things, such as building materials, roads or financial support so the churches can preach the gospel to all people.
The churches should not demand or beg the government for funding, but pray to God to provide for their needs.
The churches are the agents of God to preach the word to change our spiritual lives, souls or inner being.
They should refrain from politics but work independently in order to experience the miraculous power of God.
They are the agents that provide healing, comfort and peace through the word of God. They should not refer the sick to medical/witch doctors or herbal medicine.
