The downfall of NIP

 THE article titled “Five senior NIP staff suspended” is an indication of the issues and problems we experience in New Ireland (July 8). 

Over the years, this division has grown poisonous because of the politicking ingrained into our minds. 

On the other hand, the political climate has improved recently. 

A recipe for unity and progress has been found. 

Unity, solidarity and progress rest on us all to focus our attention on the common good. 

Appreciate and em-brace the bigger picture, rather than self-motives. 

I think this is the remedy for true solidarity, progress and a united New Ireland.
