THE incoming government must avoid detours for economic development.
Since independence, we have not made any great strides.
I urge the government to come out with plans and strategies to deliver services to the people.
It must prioritise economic development and ensure education for all.
We must learn not to destroy the environment and to curb law and order problems.
Goals must be set.
There is a need for improvement and strengthening in the legal system.
Laws must be enforced.
This is a challenge and everyone must put aside their differences after the elections and work together.
Otherwise PNG will go to the dogs as we have seen in many African counries.
