The roles we play

THIS letter is directed at all our politicians and CEOs of government departments and SOEs.
The politicians’ roles and responsibilities are to make laws – as they form the legislative arm of the Government – and to take into account people’s needs and wants and address them.
Government department and SOE secretaries, managing directors, CEOs, chairmen and public servants should know their core functions and responsibilities as the executive arm of the Government. Their job is to execute, implement or carry out what the legislative arm has decided.
Your respective offices has a purpose.
Have a heart and serve generously without asking for a commission a cut or reward.
