Three new Covid-19 cases
PAPUA New Guinea recorded only three new Coronavirus (Covid-19) cases on Tuesday, bringing the country’s total infections to 17,673.
All three cases were reported in New Ireland.
The infected were two men and a woman aged between 52 and 59. The National Control Centre said in a media statement that the country’s death toll stood at 192.
To date, a total of 146,687 people have tested positive with the Covid-19.
A total of 92,330 people have been vaccinated since May, including 81,707 who received their first dose and 10,623 who received their full two doses.
Globally, the total confirmed cases is 195,254,807, including 383,171 new cases.
The death toll stands at 4,181,143, including 6,030 new deaths.
