Thrilling finish to NSL matches in Lae

THE last round of matches for the Telikom National Soccer League (NSL) for the 2009-10 season, ended up in thrilling fashion, when Tukoko University Lae clashed with Gelle Hills and Gigira Laitepo Morobe faced off with Esi Loan University Inter FC.
Uni Lae, picked up from their last round loss to demolish the Hills 5-0 in the main match at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium.
In the other match, University Inter came from behind to force a 2-2 draw against Gigira Morobe.
However, Gigira Morobe have sneaked into the finals playoff despite the late equaliser by University Inter striker Felix Bondaluk to pick up a double.
Pascal Wojen’s first goal was a classic shot, which he connected after a clinical pass by young Nigel Dabinyaba who was attacking up front, to lead 1-0.
