Thumbs up for Maru

I WOULD like to commend Prime Minister Peter O’Neill for appointing Richard Maru as the minister for trade, commerce and industry.
Before going into politics, Maru has been fo­cused on reviving the Agriculture Bank.
He stopped it from disintegrating, gave it a new name and turned it around.
Today, the National Development Bank re­presents and depicts what it is all about.
And now Maru intends to revive the PNGBC
with the blessing and support from the prime minister.
If this comes about as planned, please let us take part by doing something rather than go to sleep and become spectators and beggars on our own land.
