Former planning minister Paul Tiensten has disgraced the people of Pomio.
They gave him the mandate to lead and they get humiliation and shame in return.
We urge him to return and face the music.
The MP has tarnished not only the district’s name, but his own reputation when he chose to flee to another country to avoid being questioned.
His action has spelled the start of his political demise.
It is imperative that he returns and cooperates with the investigations.
If it means exposing the close accomplices or conspirators, so be it.
They, too, must get their share of retribution, if found guilty.
Let justice prevail.
