Tigers down Dockers in Kaupa Cup

Herbal Tigers winger Jetro Tony scored a crucial try for his side to beat the Wildlife Dockers 16-12 in round five of the Port Moresby North-East John Kaupa Cup at Unagi Oval on Sunday.
Tony made several line breaks to contribute to his sides’ first win.
The Dockers’ aggression in the first half saw them leading 12-10 into half time.
However, the Tigers weathered the heat to came back strong in the second stanza that saw a try through Tony.
Competition coordinator Ben Marme said the competition started five weeks ago and this weekend will be their sixth week.
