Time to deepen faith: Church leader

A CHURCH leader says the “Holy Week” this week should be a time to deepen one’s faith.
Father Savio Angelo Sanchez from the Don Bosco Technical School in Port Moresby said it was valuable time to deepen one’s faith and nourish the spiritual life.
“This sacred time brings us to the heart of Christian faith, with passion of the death and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,” Sanchez said.
“The liturgy of Palm Sunday is a re-enactment of Jesus’ entry into the city of Jerusalem. People joyfully welcomed him, spread their cloaks and greenery on the road and shouted Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.
