Time for Govt to fix Lae-Madang Highway

AS a faithful taxpayer and a frequent road user, I am concerned about the Madang to Ramu section of the Lae-Madang highway.
It is frustrating to drive back and forth frequently on a road that is considered a “national highway”, but yet, the condition doesn’t suit the name.
Does the Government, through the Works Department, have any rehabilitation plans for this national highway?
The taxpayers deserve better.
Please, be fair and fix our road like what the Government is doing for the Highlands Highway.
