I AM not a political supporter or have any link with MP Francis Potabe but I wanted to stress some important development in my area.

My grandfather and father have the dreams of having a better road linked to our Benaria station whilst they walk the mist thick jungle to get basic services at Tari town.

The Benaria LLG is sometimes called Wild West of Hela where fighting and killing occurs daily where there is no government services.

The only service from the outside world was through MAF and Evangelical Church run aid post and school.

I still remember when MP Potabe was declared, he spoke from his first statement that Benaria LLG will have a road linked and he promised to bring much needed services to the district once describe as Wild West and forgotten LLG.

The promised he made in 2012 has brought much joy and pride to my area which has become a reality by linking the road to our area.

He even solved the tribal fighting and brought warring tribes for peace which is a real bonus as a leader for the people.

He also gave the peace mediator and councils a vehicle for them to travel and solve problems at Benaria LLG.

The people of Benaria LLG have cried for better health centre and school and he fulfil it.

MP Potabe has shown us the way and given us much needed services so we need to move on from what he has done.
