Time to upgrade court house in Goroka

The National, Wednesday 03rd April 2013

GOROKA was one of the iconic towns during the colonial era but many of its institutional infrastructure is deteriorating.

Most of these facilities were designed and established to feed and serve the population at that time.

Today, these facilities  cannot cater for the growing population and demand.

One of the institutions is the court house.

It needs an upgrade

to cater for two National Court sittings at one

time.

Many citizens are sick and tired of delayed court cases.

I urge the Eastern Highlands provincial assembly to push for an immediate upgrade of the court facilities in Goro-ka.
