Time to vote for young leader to lead Lae

AFTER reading two letters (The National, May 7 and May 10) calling for the removal of Bart Philemon as Lae MP, I am prompted to support the writers.
On many occasions, the MP has been biased in service delivery in his electorate.
Philemon concentrated on his Ahi people most of the time and gave no attention to other Morobeans and ethnic groups that made up Lae Open.
He has not even been seen in the suburbs that made up Lae Open.
Age is catching up with him and it is time for him to retire.
I call on the people of Lae to consider a young and energetic leader, someone like NCD Governor Powes Parkop, in the 2012 elections.
