THE International Training Institute has been donating fun run T-shirts to elementary, primary and secondary school students in the National Capital District and Central since last week,.
“It’s only now that our school received these fun run T-shirts after four years,” said Tokarara Primary School deputy head teacher, Alex Ako. “We the teachers and students are very happy to receive the shirts.”
The Trukai Fun Run, the biggest fun run event in the country, attracts thousands of people every year.
It is usually this month.
Funds raised from the fun run, the sale of the T-shirts and an auction will help PNG athletes compete at the Pacific, Commonwealth and Olympic games level.
ITI donated 120 T-shirts to Tokarara Primary School.
Schools like Port Moresby National High and Kila Kila Secondary will also get T-shirts.
