Toll free number

THE toll free number 1800-100 for NCD residents is not free when calling from mobiles phones with no credits.
Example, last week when I called 1800-100 using my Digicel phone, it says, dear customer your credit is too low to make call.
So how effective is that when reporting crimes?
We would suggest NCD Metropolitan Supt partner with Digicel and bmobile to introduce toll free number which the residents can call from their mobile phone with no credits.
This is a very effective way.
Residents may at the time of encountering crime have no credits on their phone and how will they call police?
Let’s be more realistic with the situations and introduce mobile toll free numbers.
Madang police have set up their hotline number which is 7225-4444. NCD should follow and do the same.
Toll free number 1800-100 is not effective.
