Tom Manjin Jnr, 32, could not believe that he has just bought a new vehicle for K2.50. He bought a Gala chocolate sundae from Stop & Shop, Badili, for that price and entered the Laga Industries promotion. He won the vehicle, a Ford Ranger, worth K180,000. “I can’t believe this,” he said.  “I am just so happy.  “I thank Laga for the promotion.” He was handed the car keys in Port Moresby on Wednesday accompanied by his dad Tom Manjin Snr from Sepik, mum Lisbeth from Milne Bay, brother David and wife. “I was at the house when they called on Friday,” he said. “I couldn’t believe it until I came to the head office and everyone was congratulating me.  “I have a small vehicle for many years.  “The paint has faded and all my friends call it rusted roof, rust bucket, scratches.  But it still gets me from point A to B.”  He works with Air Niugini, in the flights operations department.  He completed high school at Kila Kila, went to Unitech before he started working.
