Tomscoll cannot develop Middle Ramu from NCD

PORT Moresby has become the open electorate Middle Ramu member for Tommy Tomscoll   to fly in committee members for JDBPC meetings.
But remember, you  are not a  member of an electorate in Port Moresby.
You may have the direct appointment from  the  government to be the minister for agriculture and livestock, but that does not warrant you to stay in Port Moresby and fly in committee members with village chiefs for JDBPC meetings there.
Middle Ramu people deserve to know what is happening with all their  DSIP funds.
MPs have K10 million  annually and are making headlines for  service  delivery in their respective districts.
According to reliable sources, Tomscoll  is waiting  for the works minister to allocate funds for road upgrading in Middle Ramu.
If  so, what has happened to the K10 million?
Perhaps they have been diverted to the health and education sectors?
Which sectors are you budgeting for?
If hospital and school supplies are met by the government, why not upgrade health facilities and old classrooms?
When are you  announcing scholarships for Middle Ramu tertiary students?
Or are we waiting for 2017 where the K50 million will be utilised to construct roads for certain villages to gain their favour during the election fever?
It has been almost two years  and  we  do  not  see any tangible developments in the electorate.
Please come out to the media and update us on what you have done and what your plans are for the next K10 million.
Administration expenses  alone will not eat up all the funds, so I suggest that the auditor-general publishes a report in the media after reviewing all acquittal reports.
We cannot use a remote control to fix Middle Ramu’s  problem  from  Port Moresby.
I urge Tomscoll to spend some time in his electorate like what he did during the election period to get his people’s views  on  how best to deliver services.
Otherwise, we will see you as a seasonal visitor come 2017.
