Tomscoll, don’t blame the people forown flaws
The National, Wednesday March 26th, 2014
IT is interesting to note when people start reacting when he/she is pressured to do so.
Middle Ramu MP Tommy Tomscoll is one such leader.
As far as I can recall, the MP has neglected the very district he represents.
When he is pressured, his unplanned sweet-talk is a nuisance.
Since his election victory, Tomscoll has not been very vocal, decisive, concerned or enthusiastic in the matters of Middle Ramu until recently when pressured by some people in the electorate.
The MP’s article “District needs service” (The National, Mar 14) should have been delivered after his election victory and he should have worked towards achieving them within his five-year term.
Tomscoll has not spelled out clearly his development plans and how is he going to successfully accomplish what had been stated.
I guess the MP and his team of officers lack knowledge and skills.
The MP’s statement that “we are becoming lazy” should not be taken lightly. What economic incentives has the MP proposed and delivered which the people failed to implement?
Middle Ramu people are naturally hardworking and the MP needs to apologise to them for making such a statement.
The people should not be blamed because it only reflects the MP’s leadership abilities.
