POLICE Commissioner Tom Kulunga has condemned the killing of a young policeman in Alotau, Milne Bay, early this week.
Probationary constable David Opa was shot dead as he was pusuing criminals following a robbery on Monday.
He appealed to the public in Alotau to provide police information on the whereabouts of the killers.
He also sent his condolences to Opa’s family.
“It is truly sad when a young life is taken so brutally,” Kulunga said.
“I assure the family and relatives of Opa that we will capture all those responsible for his death and bring them to face the full force of the law.”
