THE National Capital District Commission  Sports Office has given approval to thePort Moresby Industry Touch Association to use Jack Pidik Park for the 2014 season.

PITA president Joe Yore said that preseason games would start on Sunday at the Coronation Primary School and the preseason draw would be sent out today.

Yore said the games would start from 12.30pm with the three open divisions of men, women and mix teams playing 10-15 minutes a half.

Yore said PITA was still waiting for the school board’s approval and would have levelling and filling work done on it once approved.

“Even thought we are starting the preseason late we urge all clubs get organised with players, uniforms, footwear and water,” Yore said.
