Touch footy names elite squad for tourney

The Touch Football Papua New Guinea announced its elite open men’s and women’s for the Blades Australian National Touch League on March 12- 15.
TFPNG executives and team management that players selected are based on merit.
Women’s: Marie Max, Vavine Yore, Dulcise Mereve, Patiyako Abiganasa, Diane Vetu, Alice Kakamara, Sharma Horata, Maria Alu, Dorothy Theodore, Natalie Kuper, Joan Nadu, Margaret Luke, Maureen Bonji, Shiara Adamson (Brisbane). Standby- April Yore, Rose Eva and Nora Kagi. The coach is Godfrey Luke and manager is Kila Karara.
Men’s: Eugene Eka, Elison Waluka, Kora David, Norman Vovona, Dally Illam, Uari Saea, Dialo Luana, Morris Walter, Jason Aruha, Francis Alu, Paul Kasisi, Malon Steven, Ari Peter and Henry John. Stand bye- Bobby Vovona, Robinson Kasisi and Calton Higgin. The coach is Johannes Dame and the manager is Ian Yaro.
The women’s team leave earlier,  on March 6 for a two day training camp at the Runnaway Bay Institute of Sport and Leadership Excellence, in Gold Coast whilst the men’s team leaves on March 9.
