Tour gives delegates a glimpse of PNG tourism potential

World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO) visited the Port Moresby Nature Park.
It was part of delegates’ activities in the UNWTO Asia-Pacific executive training programme on tourism policy and strategy.
The delegates were taken on a  tour of Port Moresby that included a trip to Parliament House, the National Museum and lunch at the park.
Activities at the park included  performance by a singsing and traditional carving and weaving.
Some of the delegates saw some animals for the first time.
Park manager Michelle McGeorge said the delegates had a glimpse into what PNG offered as a tourism destination.
