Tourism expo held

DEPARTMENT of Tourism and Hospitality at Divine Word University held a successful Tourism Expo on Sept 20 at the campus hall.
Several tourism companies and local crafts and artefacts firms based in Madang were part of this expo.
They staged their mini stalls to expose their markets and display the type of services they provide.
A local band with members dressed in traditional attires add flavour to the event with contemporary and traditional songs.
Wide range of people attended this event including DWU students, staff, expatriates, primary and high school students of nearby schools and the general public.
Just after week of organising a successful Independence celebration, DWU continued to keep the residence of Madang occupied and enjoy every opportunity.
