Trainees keen to put theory into practice

A GROUP of people who completed a training course at the Coca-Cola Euro Pacific Partners-PNG sales academy are looking forward to using what they have had learnt in their work.
Sales academy batch two trainee Narrie Maradangoi Eka said the training had given them confidence to identify and meet customers’ needs and expectations.
“We learnt to be more productive, efficient and know how to identify and meet customer needs,” she said.

“The training boosted our understanding, knowledge and skills to be competitive in the business environment.”
Eka, 25, from Rabaul in East New Britain studied at the Saint Patricks College in Australia in 2014 before joining the company last year.
“I am able to come out from my comfort zone to apply the knowledge actively to my role,” she said.

Coca-Cola Amatil PNG head of people and culture PNG Tim Solly said the company was building skills to help the employees in sales and marketing.
“The training modules in the programme covered product knowledge, know your customers, channel and segments and profit story,” he said.
