Training needed for police prosecutors

Letters

SOME important cases have been thrown out of court as a result of the poor collection of evidence and witness statements by police prosecutors.
It seems prosecutors have not been trained well enough to deal with these matters in terms of collecting sufficient information to be presented to the court.
Thus, most important court cases are thrown out.
The Police Department has to implement graduate development programmes and recruit and train law and psychologist graduates so they can carry out their duties.
This will improve prosecution matters and other disciplinary matters in the police force and department.
