Transparency needed in PPL

I would like to highlight an issue of great concern regarding the reason why PNG Power Ltd is facing turbulent times.
This concern focuses on:

  • The implementation of the rural electrification and town extension improvement programmes and,
  • The human resource division (transformation division) is supporting and promoting unethical activities and behaviour of the centre management teams or project teams.

The recent news of the US injecting millions of kina for rural electrification is most likely to face the same problem.
Therefore, the issue of double standards within PPL stands out to be the biggest challenge apart from terrain and geographical factors.
