Transport system can be better

WE gained independence on September 16, 1975, and we will celebrate 43 years of independence next month.
Our road transport system in PNG has not improved since then.
The transport department and the road authority should come up with better strategies to improve the transport system.
Too many unregistered and defective vehicles are flooding in and causing traffic jams everyday.
The Road Transport Authority needs to have roadblocks during the day and night and issue heavy fines to offenders.
We are living in a world full of technology and that should be reflected in our transport system
