MOUNT Hagen Catholic Archbishop Douglas Young has warned school children in Western Highlands and Jiwaka to treat their bodies with respect because they were gifts from God.
Young also urged students not to take drugs and alcohol.
He stressed this yesterday during the closing of a week-long back-to-school programme for youths of Kinambuka Parish in Tiki valley, Dei district.
Young also discouraged school children from smoking and chewing betel nut or tryimg to access pornographic materials on the internet.
“Do not allow yourselves to be influenced by others to do your body harm,” he said
At the same time, Young was given the opportunity to open a new road constructed by the Tiki community, as well as a new Catholic Church building.
