MOROBE’S Coronavirus (Covid-19) isolation and treatment centre has been moved from the Sir Ignatius Kilagi Stadium to the Angau Memorial Hospital campus, an official says.
Provincial health authority chief executive officer Dr Kipas Binga said as of last Monday, 13 patients were transferred into the new tuberculosis ward which was recently converted to cater for Covid-19 patients.
The authority said this eased the challenges, especially of transporting oxygen tanks and health personnel to and from Angau main campus to the stadium.
