LINK PNG, a subsidiary of Air Niugini, will resume services to Wapenamanda airport in Enga next Tuesday.
General manager Bruce Alabaster said services to Wapenamanda had been suspended since June due to the obstruction of trees at the runway approach paths.
“The trees have been cut,  and we can confirm the runway approach paths are clear,” he said.
“Our first flight for the resumption of operations to Wapenamanda is scheduled for next Tuesday.”
