Trial corrupt leaders before 2022 elections

Letters

ALL police-related matters involving our political leaders and bureaucrats should be fast-tracked before the 2022 national elections.
The police fraud squad should fast-track all cases involving politicians and bureaucrats if we are to get rid of corrupt practices and dishonest leaders.
The Marape-Basil government should sideline ministers and departmental heads who are implicated in corruption cases if the government is serious about fighting corruption.
It is hard to believe that a few serious cases have taken years to prosecute offenders by the respective authorities.
Prime Minister James Marape should not continue to allow MPs whose names have been tarnished to remain in office and defend themselves as they may use their powers to protect themselves.
The voters have every right to know the names of corrupt leaders before casting their votes in the next election.
