Provincial police Commander Jacob Kamiak visited the area yesterday to see officers who had been camped at the fighting zone since last month.
“I need support to move in reinforcement to prevent further killings and destruction but need assistance for my men to be there and monitor the situation.”
Local MP Wesley Nukundi has assisted but Kamiak needed more support.
“This fight looks like it’s going to be ongoing and my men needed help,” Kamiak said.
