Tribal fight in Sugu valley

Letters

KAGUA Erave electorate is in chaos since the tribal fight erupted in Sugu valley continues.
People living in the remote parts of Erave Samberigi suffering due to the lack of services like school materials, drugs/medicine, and basic needs and wants as major problems.
Health centres and clinics were shuttered down due to shortages of drugs/medicine and people are suffering from killer disease like malaria, TB etc…
However, the tribal fight in Sugu affects the highway linking Kagua to Erave Samberigi and which came to a halt and people living around that region of Erave station to Samberigi is now having road accessing Kikori and trespassing Gobe oil field, Kutubu, Moro and travel up to Mendi and Hagen costing them K200 bus fare which is a burden to the unemployed people of Erave Samberigi.
Our elected MP turned a blind eye on us. Many lives were lost in the battle which is out of hand because high powered guns were used by both parties and were outnumbered.
I am appealing to the provincial and national governments to consider these by deploying security personals to free up the road and maniacs along the highway from accessing Sugu Valley so that innocent people of Erave Samberigi can move back and forth freely.
