TWO men and a woman appeared before the Waigani Committal Court yesterday charged with harbouring a prisoner.
Amanda Kailou, of Lorengau, Manus province, Edward Noki of Angoram, East Sepik province and Philip Wam of Baiyer in Western Highlands province, faced one count each of harbouring prison escapee Siroi Leroi Gwamare.
Magistrate Cosmos Vidar said on April 2, Noki was alleged to have harboured Gwamare in Port Moresby after he had escaped from Bomana prison.
On April 5, Kailou and Wam allegedly harboured Gwamare at Kevau Inn in Boroko, Port Moresby.
Vidar said police would need some time to complete their investigations.
He released the three accused on bail and adjourned the case.
