True leaders accept defeat

THE General Election 2022-related chaos happening around the country resulting in the loss of lives, the destruction of properties and the disruption of vital services is a shame to PNG.
And it’s being watched by the world.
The insensitivity towards to value of life and public and private properties could have been prevented by those aspiring leaders (candidates).
They are the root cause of the problem.
A true leader is an elite and, therefore, very educated and understands the role of becoming a leader.
He or she also understands the process of an election and, most importantly, is ready to accept defeat.
Remember, in all games, there is only one winner.
A quality leader is humble, accepts defeat and steps aside to let the duly elected leader serve until the next election.
There’s always a next time and you might win then.
