TRUKAI Industries Limited presented the Bulolo Boxing Association with merchandise to host the national championships at Zenag Station in Bulolo on the weekend.
The company presented 100 t-shirts and 20 bales of 1kg rice to the association.
Host organising committee chairman Tony McHarest said the rice were to be distributed among the participating teams.
“The country has 22 provinces, but not all of them will be taking part,” he said.
“Less than 20 provinces will participate, so we will distribute the rice to them and they can look after themselves during the tournament.
“The 100 t-shirts are for the officials to wear during the event.”
“On behalf of the boxing fraternity, Papua New Guinea Boxing Union president John Avira and Bulolo MP Sam Basil, I thank Trukai Industries, NKW Fresh, Zenag Chicken and Lae Biscuit Company for their support through merchandises.”
The championships will end with an awards presentation today.
