THE Tsak Students Union Incorporation (TSU Inc) and the Tsak local level government in Enga’s Wapenamanda electorate have partnered to develop a council ward plan and deliver basic services in the Tsak local level government areas.
TSU Inc is an organisation of the Tsak constituency and its members are students and professionals from the area who embrace good governance and accountability.
TSU Inc acting general secretary Langa Kopio praised the Tsak LLG members and president Mathias Waep for recognising the organisation as a development partner, saying his organisation was thankful for their help of K5,000 for implementing initial part of the  council ward development plan.
He said the LLG members and the executives of TSU Inc had a meeting last month and resolved
to work together to bring change to the people of Tsak.
“Isolation will bring nothing to our people, our partnership and pooling our resources and efforts towards a common goal will make our people see real change and development in their lives,” he said.
He said the TSU Inc would look at ways to contribute in ideas and knowledge to develop the constituency starting from individual council wards.
He said this would help the councillors to implement their ward plans to achieve some of the basic services that the people in the council wards lacked.
“This is an interesting concept to start at the village level and it will have great impact to the lives of rural people,” Kopio said.
He had urged the leaders and people of Tsak to co-operate with their councillors and TSU Inc to see real changes of development starting at their villages and community.
