TST Group latest sponsor for SME summit

 TRADE, Commerce and Industry Minister Richard Maru has expressed satisfaction with sponsorship support for the inaugural SME (small medium enterprise) summit in Madang next week.

More than a million kina has been raised with many sponsors who have made pledges yet to make payment.

Port Moresby-based TST Group of Companies is the latest sponsors with a donation of K100,000.

In a low key presentation last Friday, Maru said TST Group’s support would go a long way in contributing to the growth of the SME sector.

He said a number of radical reforms to stimulate the growth of the SME sector and to create wealth and employment of citizens were expected to be derived from the summit.

TST Group of Companies owner Barry Tan said they strongly believed that their contribution would support the Government in growing the SME sector in the country.
